The Beacon of Hope for Afghan Children Society is a Canadian non-profit, non-political, charitable organization, created and operated by supporters of Afghan children in British Columbia. The society has been in operation since 2006 in the Lower Mainland, in British Columbia. The Society was formally registered with the Ministry of Finance of BC as Beacon of Hope for Afghan Children Society in 2007, and has been granted charitable status by the Charities Directorate of Canada Revenue Agency in 2009.
